This impressive program delivers with impressive talent!  Violinist Searmi Park, Concertmaster for the Eugene Symphony, brings a rich performance and recording resume.  Lydia Van Dreel, associate professor of horn at the U. of O, maintains an active diverse performing career in solo and ensemble work across the US.  Alexandre Dossin, professor of piano at the U. of O, is considered an extraordinary pianist, a master of contrasts, a prize winner in several international competitions, who keeps an active performing and recording career.   We hope you can join us for a memorable afternoon of the finest in chamber music.

The Scherzo section of the F-A-E Sonata by Brahms is one part of a collaborative four-movement composition for violin and piano written in separate movements by Robert Schumann20 year old Johannes Brahms, and Schumann's pupil Albert DietrichThe Nocturnoby Franz Strauss shows off the richness and beauty of the French horn accompanied by piano. The Horn Trio in E-flat major, Op. 40, by Johannes Brahms is a chamber piece in four movements written for natural horn, violin, and piano that shows off the powerful expression and diversity of emotional and instrumental range found in Brahms’ chamber music.
