Gewürztraminer: It has grayish-pink grapes that produce
wine with a golden gleam and an unmistakable bouquet of roses and
lychee. This low-yielding and demanding varietal is only really
convincing when harvested very ripe. The best examples come from Alsace,
Germany, Switzerland, Austria and northern Italy, but it can also be
found in the USA, New Zealand and other places.
