The recipient of a 2009 Solti Foundation U.S. Career Assistance Award for young conductors, Kuo’s recent conducting engagements include his debut at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Mr. Kuo is a successful pianist as well as conductor, who has impressed reviewers with his "considerable verve, and no shortage of idiomatic delicacy."
