New this year, we decided to have a couple of appreciation days for our wine club and general public. This is not a wine club pick up, but rather a couple days of fun lined up in honor of our wine club members. Here are just a few things that will be available on both days.

Willamette Cornhole Tourney
You are invited to the Summer Wine Country Cornhole series presented by Varnum Vintners. The series of four social events is each hosted by a different winery across the Willamette Valley. Admission to these events is $20 and is accompanied by a wine flight and food. Each event will feature a casual tournament as well as pick-up games and is a perfect opportunity to learn how to play the game and practice. Advanced Tickets are recommended, but are not required to attend the event. Discounted tickets for Wine Club Members are available.

Oregon Wine Experience
Each August, thousands of people gather together for one of the biggest wine and culinary celebrations in Oregon. The Oregon Wine Experience® is a week-long event featuring extraordinary Oregon wines, amazing culinary creations, and one of a kind experiences! Held at the historic Bigham Knoll Campus in Jacksonville, as well as at winery and restaurant venues around the region, this year’s festival is destined to be the biggest and best yet. Whether you choose to attend just one day or stay for the whole week, Oregon Wine Experience® is an essential wine event like none other in the state.

Half-Marathon & Expo
Hosted in Yamhill County in the heart of the Willamette Valley, participants rave about the small-town charm, incredible sunrise views, scenic course, great wines, and post-race Wine & Music Festival. This is the perfect Labor Day Weekend run-cation!

– Pick up race packet, personalized bib, timing chip, and technical race shirt* – Meet exhibitors and race sponsors – Shop for exclusive Wine Country Half Marathon apparel and gifts at our merchandise boutique * Runners Photo ID is required to pick up your race bib and shirt. You may designate another person to pick up your race packet but a copy of YOUR photo ID will be required.
We will also be featuring Cream Northwest Gourmet Ice Cream!

Wine & Music Festival
For guests to take part in the wine tasting, runners may pre-purchase a wine glass during registration or through Race Extras. Up to 3 additional wine glasses may be purchased for guests. Guest Wine Tasting Fee: $30 (includes glass) A stub on your race bib will indicate how many wine glasses you have purchased (so please do not lose or alter your race bib). Once you cross the finish line go to the wine glass tent to pick up your wristband and wine glass. If you purchased a glass for guests they must accompany you to receive their wine glass. Be prepared to show ID for proof of age, if asked.
