WildAire About to Release 2015 Pinot Noirs

Volume 3 |  March 2017
You're in Luck with WildAire
Have you been putting off joining the WildAire Wine Club?  Why the delay? Don't wait another day.  We are about to release our 2015 Pinot Noirs and you'll want to get these wines at a 15% discount before they are released to the public. Our wine club members get first access to all new releases along with special pricing on sales and shipping throughout the year.  Click here to join.
The 2015 Pinot Noirs will be released in the next two months. Matt has worked diligently these past few weeks readying the wines for you to enjoy or lay down to age. 2015 was a great vintage.  A very warm summer gave way to a  cool fall and provided pristine fruit on the sorting line.  The wines are ripe and structured, but they still retain their natural acidity. That tug of war between structure and acidity creates tension in the new wines. These Pinots are rich in color and body and they will cellar beautifully.
Drop by the WildAire Table at the 8th Annual Spring Tasting
WildAire is excited to again be pouring at the 8th Annual Yamhill Carlton AVA Spring Tasting at Anne Amie Vineyards. With over 35 wineries participating, this event sells out every year.  Don't wait. Get your tickets here and join us Saturday, April 29th from 11am-3:30pm.  Advance tickets are $40. "Day of" tickets, (if there are any), will be $50.
WildAire on the Road in Washington
Anne has been busy burning up I-5 several times this past month to secure more placements of your favorite WildAire wines in The Evergreen State. Look for us at El Gaucho Restaurant and Stink Meat and Cheese in Tacoma and at Aqua Restaurant by El Gaucho and Revolution Wine Bar in Seattle. We are thrilled to be expanding in to the Washington area and are excited to be pairing with such esteemed restaurants and wine shops.
Why the Triskele Symbol?
The Triskele symbol, with a history of both Greek and Irish influence, has numerous meanings as it turns out. Some say it is a reference to the Greek word meaning three-legged. Others define it as a symbol representing the past, present and future. Elsewhere it is recognized as a nod to the Christian Trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit denoting eternity.  WildAire has chosen to recognize our Irish heritage and the meaning of Earth, Wind and Water. That relationship perfectly explains the critical albeit delicate balance Pinot Noir must have with its surroundings on the way to becoming beautiful wine.

Don't Miss Steve Poltz at Brandborg!

Brandborg Winery Presents:
Steve Poltz

Saturday March 18
Doors:  6:00    Music:  7:00
$20 at the door
"Steve Poltz is regarded as one of the most talented and prolific songwriters of our time."
"...he is a lover of life; fascinated by all things large and small. As a road-tested troubadour armed with whimsy, curiosity and a healthy respect for the absurdities of existence"
"...unafraid of saying yes, unafraid of letting his relentless, giddy energy fill a room and he is unafraid of letting his streams-of-consciousness take him where he needs to go. His songs are guileless snapshots filtered through the windshield of his brain. He opens his mouth and let's it fall out - a song - and it's as shameless and intriguing and profound and wondrous as he is. A mix of high octane performance, singular wit and endlessly entertaining storytelling, Steve is legendary for his improvisational songwriting and timeless, original classics. Oh, and he's a pretty good guitarist too. Folksinger contains spirited, clever music delivered in winsome melodies and a humor all its own..."
Hope to see everyone there!
