Pfeiffer News

Pfeiffer Winery
April Newsletter
Dear Linda,

We have bud break! It's the earliest we have seen it in the history of the vineyard. With lots of sunny, warm days that hint at a gorgeous summer, we can only cross our fingers that a late frost doesn't come through.

SUMMER HOURS COMING SOON!
With all this amazing weather, we have decided to start our summer hours early! Beginning May 1st, come and join us from 11-5pm Monday through Thursday, and from 11-9pm Friday through Sunday!

                                                 Cheers,
                                                             Robin, Danuta and Staff

Paella & Flamenco Celebration

Join us for fun, food, wine, and dance.

Soléna Estate Winery invites you to experience a Paella & Flamenco Celebration at the Soléna Estate Lakeside tasting room on Saturday, April 11 from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

We will be making a Paella Valenciana, one of our favorite styles of Paella from Valencia, Spain. Widely regarded as Spain's national dish, paella consists of rice, green vegetables, meat (chicken and seafood), and seasoning such as saffron, rosemary and occasionally lemon.

We will be featuring the Soléna 2013 Pinot Gris and our 2010Soléna Wooldridge Creek Merlot to complement the beautiful Paella Valenciana.

We have invited Portland-based Flamenco artist, Mark Ferguson and his dancers to entertain us while we enjoy our food on the patio. To RSVP, please contact Maria atmaria@solenaestate.com or call Soléna tasting room at 503.662.3700.

Come join us for some beautiful music and food, as we celebrate the start of the Spring season.  $65.00 per person. Club discount applies (RSVP required).

The 2013 vintage marked 10 years since our estate's first Pinot Noir vines were planted. In celebration of this milestone, we were compelled to highlight our vineyard's unique terroir with two new wines: ‘East Blocks – Volcanic Soil Pinot Noir’ and ‘West Blocks – Sedimentary Soil Pinot Noir’.

This is a rare opportunity to collect these limited production wines along with our highly coveted 2013 Revana Vineyard Estate Pinot Noir and we suggest enjoying all three, side by side, to fully experience the dramatic differences in soil and slope.
